Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation Communications /
Ken Burns PBS Documentary Campaign

I led integrated communications and audience strategy supporting major institutional initiatives for Jamestown Settlement and the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown.

Responsibilities included executive presentations, stakeholder communications, campaign development, and collaboration across agency partners and organizational teams.

I also gave creative direction for a high-profile campaign connected to Ken Burns’ documentary on the American Revolution featured on PBS, overseeing the storytelling and creative strategy designed to engage broad audiences across multiple channels.

Challenge
Unify messaging for major museum initiatives.

Approach
Gave creative direction to Ken Burns campaign and stakeholder communications.

Results
Expanded audience reach through coordinated storytelling efforts.

In addition to the above communications initiatives, I developed keynote addresses and executive presentations delivered to boards and senior leadership audiences.

These presentations required translating large volumes of marketing performance metrics, audience research, behavioral trends, and strategic data into clear narratives that non-technical audiences could quickly understand and act upon.

I distilled complex information into audience-centered insights, helping key decision makers connect data to broader organizational goals and opportunities. The following contains excerpts of these keynote addresses.

Challenge
Translate complex audience data for executive leaders.

Approach
Converted research insights into audience-centered narratives.
