What if backwards is better?

Most of us move through life the same way. We start at the beginning and work toward the end.

But what if you flipped things around?

I've always loved the concept of reverse engineering. Storytellers use this trick all the time. Start with the ending, then work backwards to figure out how to get there.

Begin with the end in mind.

Funny how reversing our thinking can unlock connections we might otherwise miss. Try it sometime. 

Instead of Beginning → Middle → End, try End → Middle → Beginning.

This works just as well for life decisions as it does for storytelling.
